Does your character have any close ties to existing canon characters? N/A

Why do you think your character would work in this setting?

Chase was a carefree, fun loving type of guy until he met Greg House that is. He lasted longer than anyone out of all of House's ducklings. Chase left or was fired and still chose to come back. Some might say he was a glutton for punishment, but he would disagree. The straw that broke the camels back was not Cameron saying she never loved him, House's constant torment both personally and professionally, but instead, when he got stabbed in the heart by a patient because of a prank House played, Chase has had enough. He accepts Eli's offer because he is the king of bad life choices. Robert slept with a Nun because he could, and he is angry at House for being well House. He needs a clean start.

How do you plan to expand their CR?

Chase is a social butterfly and a friendly guy to people that aren't House. He will be welcoming to new people and CR. He might be wary at first because of years of torment from House.

What will your character do for work?

He is a doctor, specializing in Diagnostics and Emergency medicine.

Third-Person Sample:

Waking up with a hangover naked in bed with an equally naked body beside you could either be good or bad, except in this case there was no warm body next to him, only a cold slab of concrete.

"Bloody hell," He exclaimed. "Why is it necessary to freeze a man's arse off House?" This place had to be House's doing.... But the sudden realization that House was indeed dead hit him in the gut, and almost knocked the wind out of him. He stood gingerly, although Lord knew why. It was funny, bringing God into the mix at this point in his life. Maybe that was the cosmic joke on him. "I finally get everything that I've wanted for ten years, yet it is ripped away like an old Band-Aid. "Not funny." He looked at himself in the mirror for a long time, staring into eyes that he only started to recognize as his own.

Damn. The whole situation was unfair. Chase's hand went to the collar around his neck. "What's the game? Where's the puzzle? These were questions that Chase had routinely asked himself while working for House. They made him think more clearly, so he kept asking them. Robert had to smile as he walked out of the temple. He didn't know what was happening here, but half the fun of life was figuring out the puzzle.

He scrubbed a hand over his face. “God what a bloody mess this is,” he muttered, looking around. “Dorothy, I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore. Dr. Robert Chase thought that he was a talented easy-going guy, but landing himself in a strange place, with a collar, even with his clothes was almost too much for him to handle. He needed a drink. That would help everything said no one ever. He could hear the scorn and mock in House’s voice, and that angered him. He couldn’t help it, years of torment from a masochistic man had taught Chase never to take things at face value because there was somehow always a game, always an angle. Chase was tired, so maybe this place was a chance to forge his way, out from House’s shadow. (From a different app and canon point)

First-Person Sample:

Dear House-
I…. God, I can’t believe that I am writing this letter. That I left, or maybe it would be easier for me to believe that you were dead. Easier for you or me? That is the question that would most likely come out of your mouth, were you sitting in front of me now instead of God only knows where.

It’s funny to me that I’m mentioning God at a time like this, given how much you mocked me over the years for my faith, or lack of I suppose. You sure laughed it up when I slept with Sara didn’t you? But I’ll remind you that I figured it out in the end. Isn’t it you that always said that it doesn’t matter how you got there, if you’re get there in the end? Or something like that. I don’t even bloody well know anymore. Maybe that’s the point of this letter, me, Dr. Robert Chase stepping out of your shadow and claiming a small piece of the world for myself.
Thank you for years of knowledge and torment. It made me a better Doctor, and lastly? You were right. Big surprise, but I don’t want to turn out like you.

Yours,
Your not so shiny-haired wombat
